Retreat Center

With the Mendocino Mountain Range on the west, Mount Lassen and Mount Shasta to the north and east, and a live stream flowing through the property, this is a haven of peace in a chaotic world.

This is a smaller rural community, yet close to all the amenities of modern life, offering a getaway for an hour, a day, or a weekend. To our wonderful neighbors, you are welcome to book an appointment for acupuncture or just drop by for tea and a peaceful view with horses and chickens, or simply listen to the flow of the creek or gaze at the horizon and clouds. You may want to take a break from your busy life here.

What can you find here? Well, your peaceful heart! You may book an appointment for acupuncture for any health condition you have, no matter how light or how severe. Acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine has proven very effective for many conditions. You may want to sign up for a meditation session or whole foods cooking classes. You may want to work in the garden or sit by the stream. You may want to sign up for breathing classes or light exercise. You may want to book a martial arts lesson. You may want to meditate in the dojo or meditate with the mustangs (horses). You may want to participate in grooming the horses. You may want to visit the local “watering hole” and visit Judy and the gang at the Flournoy Store, which is a six-minute walk from our ranch. She makes great sandwiches and lunches, and she has apple pie on Mondays!

You may want to set up a whole foods vegan organic lunch with Dr. Bolz. There are multiple avenues for you to find your peaceful heart. Give us a call or email us about what you would like to explore, and we will see if we can accommodate.
